Art For You is a Community Interest Company that was set up by its Director, Dani Gaines, in 2012. Dani has a background in the visual arts, with a specific focus on drawing, painting and mixed media in her own creative practice. She graduated in 1996 from the BA (Hons) Embroidery at Manchester Metropolitan University and went on to complete the MA Design Management from the University of Central England in 1998.
Dani has qualifications in Coaching and teaching adults, and since 2010 she has been concentrating on developing her own teaching and facilitation skills in a creative context. This work has had a very broad base in that it has spanned work with families and their pre-school children, to projects within primary schools, teaching groups of adults, working with adults withlearning disabilities and running projects with senior citizens.Dani has recently further developed her skills in applying creativity in a health context by completing the Arts for Health & Wellbeing post-graduate module at Bolton University.

Art For You works with a wide range of other creative professionals who use their skills and experience from other disciplines such as drama, music, dance and story telling. We are committed to using professional delivery methods, such as detailed session planning and robust evaluation techniques, to create engaging, developmental and fun learning experiences for our participants.
Dani holds a current full CRB check and has a certificate of Safeguarding training attendance.
